10,472 acres have been encroached in Bangalore Urban and Rural districts. Deadline for the parties accused of encroaching to raise objections is Feb 29th.
The court asked the government to initiate action against those who encroached 100-200 acres of forest and revenue lands reaping major benefits over the years.
