ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಬಹಳ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಯಶವಂತಪುರ ಹಳೆಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದವರೆಗೂ ಒಂದು ಪಾದಚಾರಿ-ಸೇತುವೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸೇತುವೆ ಬಂದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಎರಡು ಜಾಗಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಅಂತರ 2.3 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ಇಂದ 200 ಮೀ ಗೆ ಇಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ
