Nagavara Cycle Day hosted by Bengaluru’s youth brigade

The Nagavara edition of Cycle Day was organised in partnership with the university team from Presidency College. The team will continue to host the upcoming editions in February and March as well.

A day filled with joy and fun–Cycle Day–themed Masti ki Pathshala, was hosted jointly by the Rotaract Club, Presidency College and the residents of Coffee Board Layout in Nagavara on January 10th. The event as usual started with warm-up sessions and three rounds of cycle rides around the beautiful avenues of Nagavara. Many residents of Coffee Board Layout came out to celebrate the cycling and the open streets. They also enjoyed the various games that were conducted which included lagori, badminton, chess, ludo etc.

Young and old, with or without cycles, many people turned up to support the cause and enjoyed a Sunday filled with socialising and cycling.

The guests included RJ Raj, Rtr. Vinod Sir, who came cycling from RMV to the venue along with Rtr Mohan, Rtr Anita and Lalitha, among others. They seemed to have a lot of fun in the lively atmosphere, participating in the various games.

This community partner for the edition of the Cycle Day in Nagavara, is the youngest group of people that BCOS has worked with. The team of BCOS extends a welcome to their very first university partner, Presidency College (Rotaract Club), Hebbal, who will be hosting the upcoming edition of Cycle Day at Nagavara on the second Sunday of February and March as well.

The event was wrapped up with a splendid musical performance by Ankur Tripathi and his band members consisting of Shubham and Rohit. Manav Seth (President Rotaract, Club), dedicated a song to the Rotaractors team for the first successful event in Nagavara and invited the crowd for the next event scheduled for February 14th.
