A quick glance at your neighbourhood schools. At Indira Priyadarshini, Sindhu J C topped the SSLC with 601 for 625. 90% passed at Holy Infant. At Frank Public it is a 100% pass. At St Marks Public, 100% passed, with 20 of 30 students securing first class. Mahatma Education Society secured a 67% pass. “Its not too bad, we not only concentrate on academics but also on other curricular activities”, says Dr Seshagiri Rao K A, Principal.

Coming to some ICSE 12th results, at Clarence Public, all students secured above 80% marks. At Dayananda Sagar, above 80% of the students got distinction.  (School sources spoke to Citizen Matters)

Builders with no address

A resident of  JP Nagar filed a complaint against a builder who promised to give him two sites. He gave the builder a sum of Rs 6 lakhs two weeks ago. When the resident went to visit the builders office, it was nowhere to be found.

New trick to steal ATM card

ATM card holder lost around Rs 40, 000 due to his naivette. A conman pretending to be a new to ATMs, asked him to show how to use the card. In the process the person not only divulged the pin number of the ATM card but his card was also switched with a fake one.

Co-worker was the culprit

A nurse who works  in a city hospital lost her debit card and filed a complaint  in JP Nagar police station a week  ago. It was later found out that her colleague withdrew  around Rs 38,000 from her  account.
