One of my friend was planning to buy a flat near the Hennur Road. The deal was about to fix, he heard that the already widened Hennur Road will be still widened. So on 8th June,2011, I applied under RTI to the BBMP regarding the status of road widening of Hennur-Kannur (Proposed Airport Cargo way). The road is made widened and still the BBMP has put marking for further widening. On 5th July The Executive Engineer, Yalhanka Division, BBMP gave me reply that out of notified 36 meters, 24.6 meters road was widened. This is a successful story of RTI Act 2005
