In the summer of 2019, we thought of renting a house within walking distance of our son's new school. Vasudev Sharma, Executive Director of the NGO Child Rights Trust (CRT), who has overseen the growth of the child helpline 1098 in Bengaluru, has an anecdote about its reach.
