  • Exhibition displaying briefs on the activities of Horticulture Department.
  • Farmers or gardeners can get their queries on horticulture or gardening answered at the information desk next to the horticultural exhibition.
  • Vegetable exhibition set up by Horticulture Department of HAL and BBMP.
  • If you walk down the road behind Glass House, you will find stalls for wooden toys, jute bags, flower and vegetable seeds, tool kits for gardening etc.
  • There are stalls from which you can purchase seeds of fruits and flowers.
  • There are not many fruits to display this year.
  • No parking for vehicles inside Lalbagh. School vehicles are allowed.
  • There are nurseries outside Lalbagh, which sell flower plants, pots, manure, mud etc.
  • Don’t go in the evenings, as there is no appropriate shelter if it rains.
  • Visit in the mornings, so that you can actually observe flowers. If you choose to go in the evenings, there will be lot of rush, and you will end up counting heads instead of watching flowers!
  • Do not litter the lawn inside the park.

Parking facility:

Parking is available at –

  • Opposite to Mauri hotel
  • BMTC Shanthi Nagara Bus Stand
  • HOmbeGowda School
  • Hopcoms KH circle
  • J C Road BBMP parking place
  • On Vani Vilas Road, parking facility is available on both sides of the road from Lalbagh West Gate to Shesh Mahal Junction.
  • On MNK Rao Road, left side of the road from Lalbagh West Gate to Milk Booth Junction will have parking facility.
  • The last two above are special parking facilities introduced for the sake of Flower Show only, and will be cancelled after August 15.
  • If you decide to park at Shantinagar busstand, you need to walk from there to the centre of Lalbagh, where the flower show is on. Good exercise for your legs, but difficult when you have small kids alongwith you. Better option would be to drive till Lalbagh gate, let everybody get down there, and go back to Shantinagar to park the vehicle.
  • Wherever you park, you cannot avoid walking for some half kilometre – which is of course good for health!
