Bengaluru Jeevana has arrived

We are proud to present the Kannada version of our acclaimed English guidebook, Living in Bengaluru. Well known Bangaloreans Prakash Belawadi and Nagesh Hegde have praised the book.

Citizen Matters has released Bengaluru Jeevana, a guide book of 140 pages, all in Kannada. The book is rewritten and translated from Citizen Matters’ popular Living in Bengaluru English guidebook.

With an identical look and feel to the English book, and priced at Rs 80, the Kannada guide is a much needed source of information for living in the city and getting things done. It contains information for everything from getting property papers to voter registration to driving licenses and recycling.

A little white disc flies through the air; chased by many, and caught deftly by a girl, who then sends it whizzing across the sandy shore. This is a scene that often unfolds along Chennai's Besant Nagar beach, next to the red police booth. The vast, open space afforded by the beach sets the stage for a fun sport, involving a 175g white disc. Ultimate Frisbee is fast-paced, involving seven players from each team on opposite sides of the field, throwing the disc to each other, racing to catch it and passing it along to teammates.
