Boury, a Punjabi, born and brought up in Bangalore, is a photographer and filmmaker , but his love for food made him get into the hotel venture. He says "I am dependent on the chefs in this business, so I made sure I get the best chefs in here, our executive chef has worked with Le Meridian for more than 20 years now".

Though the menu has less to offer there is no compromise on the quality of food and the rates are not exorbitant. If you are a north Indian food lover, this is the place for you. The ambience is peaceful, the interiors are trendy.

Mandi, a fine dining is a multi cuisine restaurant offering chinese, north Indian and continental dishes on the menu. Though named Mandi which means market, the ambience is very serene.

This one year old restaurant has buffet lunch priced at `199 on weekdays and `299 on weekends. No liquor is offered here. This cozy place is also appropriate for going on a date. The quality of food is enormously good and a visit here is worth it. "The items on the menu are not unique, but the taste is. We have the best chefs from Gujarat", says Hormi k, Manager. Home delivery and take away options are provided.

A dhaba is a highway concept; it is rare to find one inside the city, but ‘Chulha Chauki da dhaba’ has proved it otherwise. This dhaba is in JP Nagar just opposite R V Dental College opened about three years ago. They are famous for their Phulkas (dry chapathis) and authentic Punjabi dishes. "I call our dishes authentic because they are prepared the way they should be prepared, and the taste is unique because of that; for example we prepare the phulkas on coal; hardly is it prepared like that", says Vikram Shyam, 33, the owner.

The Dhaba is also famous for chicken Punjabi masala (a curry) and tawa chicken (main course). The joint is popular among college goers due to reasonable prices. And unlike highway dhabas it is clean. They however do not offer in liquor. The food, service and hospitality can be termed as excellent.
