Housing projects that will be ready in 2011

If you are looking for a home to occupy this year, there are options aplenty. South Bengaluru is seeing a spurt in residential projects followed closely by North Bengaluru.

Bangalore has many residential projects coming up for occupancy this year, and the most popular location seems to be South Bangalore. Citizen Matters got details of around 45 new projects from a property bazaar organised by realtor Magicbricks.com last month in the city.

In addition to popular builders, lesser-known companies are also introducing many projects. Most projects are located in the outer limits of the city.

Of all projects, 11 are located along Hosur Road. While many of them are coming up near Hosur town itself, a few are near Electronic City. There are four projects around Sarjapur and another four around Kanakpura/Jigni-Anekal road.

After south, North Bangalore seems to be the most popular destination. Six projects are coming up near the city airport (BIAL) and five near Yelahanka. In the east side, there are six projects in Marathahalli-Whitefield area.

There are also a few odd projects along the western side – one in Kengeri-Thaverekere main road and another in Srirampura.

There are also a few projects located close to the city, such as HSR Trinity in Silk Board, Alpine Pyramid in Sahakaranagar and Skyline RK Atlantis in Old Madras Road.

    I purchased a flat from Alpine Viva in December 2005. Had paid all my installments. However, we did not get possession of the flat. The builder is avoiding meetings. There was a recent mail from the builder that two blocks will be ready by Jan 2012, and two other blocks by Apr 2012. There is another block that has not started yet. How is it that your article talks about project readiness in 6 months?

    Beware of project RGVillas by Royal Indian Raj. Still not built after 6 years, no deposits held in escrow and no deposits ever returned to customers. Many lawsuits including 22 customer civil suit. Google: Royal Indian Raj, Manoj Benjamin, Ravi Benjamin, Collins Benjamin, RGVillas.
